Burger & Beyond, one of London’s most celebrated burger brands, wanted to bring their signature dining experience into the digital space. Their goal was to create a bespoke loyalty and rewards app that felt as premium and distinctive as their restaurants, an extension of the brand, not just another marketing tool. Gathered & Found were engaged to design and deliver the app end-to-end, from discovery and concept through to launch.

The Challenge

Burger & Beyond, one of London’s most rapidly expanding restaurant groups, wanted to strengthen customer loyalty and create a unified digital experience across its growing estate. Existing guest touchpoints, bookings, menus, marketing and customer engagement, lived in separate tools with no single journey or loyalty mechanic tying them together. To support future scale, drive repeat visits and offer a premium digital touchpoint, Burger & Beyond required a greenfield mobile app, built completely from scratch, that brought loyalty, rewards, bookings, menus and brand content into a cohesive, high-quality membership experience. G&F were engaged to deliver the full end-to-end build; from strategy and UX to infrastructure, backend engineering and launch.

G&F’s UX & UI team designed the complete visual and interactive blueprint for Burger & Beyond’s digital membership experience. Working directly with the brand team, we designed a complete mobile app prototype fully aligned with Burger & Beyond’s creative identity; bold, premium and instantly recognisable. We optimised user flows across the entire journey, including onboarding, loyalty card access, QR scanning, points visibility, reward redemption, bookings and location discovery.


This prototype defined the end-to-end customer experience and became the foundation for engineering delivery.

Built as a greenfield solution, the backend is designed to support future expansion including new restaurant openings, loyalty tiers, personalised offers and deeper customer insight.

Bespoke Rewards & Points System

G&F designed a completely custom loyalty model built specifically for Burger & Beyond’s customer base and in-restaurant experience. Instead of relying on generic off-the-shelf solutions, we created an entirely bespoke points engine; defining how customers earn points, how rewards unlock, and how the journey adapts based on membership behaviour.

We introduced a seamless QR-based flow that connects in-restaurant visits with digital engagement, making point collection instant and effortless. The reward structure was crafted to drive repeat visits, boost customer lifetime value and strengthen the sense of exclusivity that underpins the Burger & Beyond brand. This made the loyalty programme feel authentically “B&B”; not just functional, but genuinely compelling.
